Dorset Diving Services Covid-19 Statement
For the safety of all our team members, students, and others we still have some restrictions in place. At any time, if you feel we could improve in places please feel free to contact us directly. All the team at DDS have everyone’s safety top of their list, we appreciate your assistance and co-operation during these hard and uncertain times.
In the Dive Centre
From Monday 19th July we are still requesting that anyone entering the shop wear an appropriate face mask over their nose & mouth. It can be removed if you are sat on one of the sofas at a comfortable distance from a team member and/or are drinking a cuppa or having a biscuit.
We request that anyone in the centre still maintain a good distance from anyone else in the centre at the time.
Hand sanitisers are located around the centre for your use.
All surfaces are wiped down regularly with disinfectant.
Any masks that have been tried on will be wiped down before & after use.
We ask that you only pick up any items you intend on purchasing.
When cylinders are filling, they are placed in a container of water which also holds disinfectant.
All service technicians are wearing gloves whilst carrying out any works.
All school gear is rinsed in disinfectant and rinsed off in freshwater after every use.
Each student is assigned the same kit for every training session.
We kindly request that all students wear an appropriate mask during training when indoors.
We will also request that students keep a sensible distance between themselves and our team members whilst attending our training sessions.
We are asking that all students/divers attending a training session, or an event complete the questionnaire below at least 4 hours before the starting time.
We are also asking, if you are not double jabbed, that you carry out a lateral flow test within 24 hours of their session starting and can confirm a negative result via our Covid-19 questionnaire.
Our team members are regularly testing as per the governments advice.
We ask that if you receive any positive test at any time to contact us immediately.
Our Covid-19 promise
If at any point during your training you test positive for Covid-19 or are required by law to isolate, we will transfer you onto the next available date(s) for your training FREE OF CHARGE. Proof must be provided, and it must be within the government guidelines.
In the event of anyone notifying us of a positive result we will contact everyone who has been in attendance with them as soon as possible.
