Where do I start? What a journey it's been!

In 2016 my best mate (Leon) qualified as a PADI Instructor and had been pestering me for ages to come and give it a go!

So I finally caved a couple of years later when he opened Coast2Coast Scuba. I did some try dives in the pool and then he took me to Boscombe Pier - that's me on my first dive at the bottom!

Fast forward another couple of years after a handful of pool sessions and I bite the bullet and booked onto a PADI Open Water course. I caught the bug that I'd heard him talk about so many times and have continued to dive as much as possible when I can, doing some courses along the way.

I enjoy the boat dives during the Summer and have enjoyed coming along and helping out with poolside covering and paperwork when courses are happening and jumping in to splash when the team are training. I was intrigued by what the team were doing with the students and asked Leon about becoming a dive instructor....

Now, almost 2 years later I'm just about to start my PADI Rescue Course and then move onto my PADI DIvemaster.
Oh and I also start full time in the dive centre in February 2022. So, I guess I'll see you there for a cuppa ;)
