PADI Divemaster Trainee

I completed my PADI Open Water diver in Albufeira, Portual in 2003 and caught the bug straight away! I started diving because my Dad was a diver in the 70s and I've always liked the sea, at an early age I used to snorkel around the Nothe in Weymouth.

When I came back to the UK, I dived alot locally and obtained my PADI Master Scuba Diver in Swanage.

I would like to get my Wreck Diver specialty as there are so many wrecks locally and it would be great to explore them properly! I'd also like to get into the maintenance side of diving & servicing.

I love the ocean but my sea legs are non existent and I get sea sick on a peddleo! But as soon as I'm under the water all my troubles seem to melt away - that's why I love diving, it's almost like being on another planet.

At the beginning of 2021 I joined Dorset Diving's Dive Club and have never looked back. I met some great people and made some great new friends. I started diving a lot more regularly and have come a long way with my skills. That's why, at the end of 2021 I joined the PADI Divemaster Trainee course.
I'm looking forward to doing alot more in the water and helping others to learn how to dive.

I have dived in Northern Ireland and would love to get to other places further afield one day like Great Barrier Reef, Egypt and Seal Island in South Africa.
