The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver eLearning is designed to improve your underwater knowledge and skills. You can enroll immediately after earning your PADI Open Water Diver certification regardless of your skill level.
The course helps you build confidence in navigation, fine-tune buoyancy skills and introduces you to different diving activities such as wreck diving, night diving or underwater imaging.
After completing your eLearning, you’ll make five Adventure Dives: a deep dive (beyond 18m/60F), a navigation dive, and three additional Adventure Dives of your choice to earn your certification.

What equipment will I need?
All equipment and cylinder fills are included in the price of your Advanced Open Water course where needed. However, at this stage in your diving, being an Advanced Diver is a time where you should start considering purchasing your own diving equipment. Pop into our dive centre for help & advise on choosing the right equipment for you and your style of diving.
PLEASE NOTE: If you decide the do the DRYSUIT section of this course you will need your own Drysuit.
It is a requirement that you have your own mask, snorkel and neoprene boots for health & safety reasons.
When completing this course you maybe asked to attend either Vobster Quay, a local shore location or a Boat dive (these are seperate entry fees and you must make your own way to site).
Boat dives are £50 per diver and will be from Poole Quay from 1730 on a Monday or Thursday.
Vobster Quay is £23 entry and will be on a Sunday.
Shore locations will be local
The site is dependent on what section you chose to do to complete your Advanced Open Water course. It is also dependent on weather, wind and tides - it may get cancelled last minute due to bad weather.
*This course fee only covers your online training, assessments and certification card. Practical training fees, dives, dive equipment and logbook are available at additional fees via Dorset Diving Services (please contact us to book onto your practical training).
Once your e-Learning is completed contact us to book onto your practical training. You will not be booked onto any practical sessions until the remaining balance of the course is paid.

Age Requirement: 12 years or older
Time Commitment: Approximately 8 hours (+ Open Water training days).
Course Prerequisites: Open Water Diver/Junior Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification) and medically fit to dive
