  • Step 1 - Buy Online

    To help accommodate your dive choices, This course has custom dates. We're able to fit the course dates to suit your schedule.

    Sessions can run on Friday evening's in the pool, Monday/Thursday evenings on the boat from Poole and/or Sunday's at Vobster Quay.

    To go ahead, buy the course online, then pop into the dive centre or call to arrange dives and dates to suit you!

  • Step 2 - PADI eLearning

    Start learning right away!
    Once you're booked, you'll receive an email from PADI with eLearning.

    PADI eLearning is a great way to make sure we have a good understanding of the skills you'll be completing in the water with your PADI Instructor

    To avoid delays, your eLearning should be complete in time for your course start date

  • Step 3 - Course Orientation

    Meet the DDS Dive Team at our PADI Dive Centre in Poole.

    We'll spend a couple of hours familiarising and adjusting your new kit to fit you perfectly before your in water session. You can expect attention to detail in very small groups on any of our PADI Sidemount Courses.
    There will be time to ask questions and explore lots of different configurations to suit your diving style

  • Step 4 - Confined Water Dives

    With the help of your PADI Pro's, You'll complete 1 Confined water dive at Everyone Active (Dolphin) Leisure Centre in Poole.

    In small groups, you'll familiarise, learn and develop skills including cylinder management, redundancy drills, weight positioning and task management

  • Step 5 - Open Water Dives

    We have 3 open water dives to complete for the PADI Sidemount Diver Course.

    During the course, you will become proficient in managing cylinder postioning, air sharing, equipment failure drills and task management.

    This will allow you to use your sidemount skills in various environments with ease

  • Step 6 - Cerification!

    Once you've completed all 5 steps and logged your dives in the PADI App with the help of your PADI Pro's, You'll be certified as a PADI Sidemount Diver!

    • Vobster Quay entry fee £24/day (if applicable)
    • Boat Fees £60/evening (1-2 dives) (if applicable)

    • If extra sessions or rescheduling are required, extra fees will be payable. (£45/CW £75/OW)
