What will you learn?
You’ll learn the tools of the trade, including navigation using natural clues and by following compass headings. During three scuba dives, you’ll practice:
– Methods to estimate distance underwater.
– Compass navigation while making at least five turns.
– Marking or relocating a submerged object or position from the surface.
– Underwater map making.
What equipment will I need?
All equipment and cylinder fills are included in the price of your course where needed. However, at this stage in your diving, being an experienced diver is a time where you should start considering purchasing your own diving equipment. Pop into our dive centre for help & advise on choosing the right equipment for you and your style of diving.
It is a requirement that you have your own mask, snorkel and neoprene boots for health & safety reasons. You are also required to have your own compass to participate in this course.
Please note course fees do not include entry into training sites or on boat dives if required. Parking fees at sites may also apply.
