We can accommodate you and/or a group of participants for an agreed date & time. Once you have made this purchase we will get in touch to organise this with you. The course will be approximately 3 hours at our dive centre in Poole.
Auromated External Defibrillation (AED) training, including basic life support, will give you the confidence to act quickly and effectively if someone has a cardiac arrest.
Participants will learn how to operate an AED and how to perform CPR (on both adults, children and babies).
A cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, at any time. When it does, every second matters. AEDs are proven to save lives.
AEDs are easy to use and can be used by anyone. Training in its use will ensure that you are familiar with the device, so you can act quickly and confidently when it matters.
Chest Compressions (CPR) is also taught as a crucial part of the chain of survival. You will be taught how to carry out CPR on adults, children and babies.
Is this the right course for me?
Anyone can learn how to use an AED and how to carry out CPR. No previous first aid knowledge is required.
If you are interested in furthering your emergency first aid skills this is a good course to participate in and does not need to be renewed.
If you're a healthcare worked this course can be used to show a CPD training certification in CPR & AED use.
