Well, it was a sad start to April for some of us as we returned from our Philippines trip on the 1st day of the month! The end of March saw 24 of us head over to Scandi Divers for 10 days of diving. We had a great time, with lots of memories to add to our dive adventures from Pygmy Seahorses to Thresher Sharks, amongst friendly banter, making new friends and more. Be sure to keep an eye out for our blog coming very soon (better late than never!)
At the beginning of the month a bunch of us had a productive beach clean for the BCP Litter Free Dorset campaign. We headed over to Holes Bay where we collected a total of 39.26kg! This included items such as bottle caps, sauce pots, straws, wrappers and ALOT of Nurdles - 596 to be exact! A big well done and thank you to everyone involved.

Upcoming events in May:
- Thursday evening boats from Poole Quay for divers of any qualification & ability from any agency - we welcome all, it's not just for club members. You can book your next boat dive HERE If you're new to us, haven't dived in the UK or from a boat yet or you'd just like a guide and/or a hand, you will need to a Guided Diver. Unguided dives are £45 per diver, £40 for current club members.
- DSMB Workshop! We require every diver to have their own DSMB when diving with us. They can be a bit fiddly at the best of times, so this is a must workshop. Discounted for club members too!
- Buoyancy Workshop! A great little workshop to help with your trim and finning techniques. Discounted for club members too!
- Pool Sessions EVERY Friday evening - FREE for current club members.
- 26th May - Kimmeridge Rockpooling & Snorkelling for any & all! You don't need to be a diver to join in - just some water confidence and a shared interest marine life!

- The last few remaining spaces on our Lundy Trip (with the Seals!) in June. A golden opportunity for some lovely diving in the Marine Conservation Zone that is full of life off the shore of the renowned Lundy Island, with the added bonus of a couple of Seal dives with their local resident Grey Seals.

READ MORE ABOUT THE TRIP & BOOK NOW - We're off an our annual Brussels trip the first weekend in December! It's a fun trip and a chance for divers to get wet in December! We head over to NEMO33 on day 1 for a dive in their 33m deep pool, followed by lunch. Then we head over to Brussels centre and enjoyed the festive delights of the Christmas Market. On day 2, we head over to TODI Aquarium where we have a 2 hour slot to dive in there big fish tank, full of massive Freshwater Fish! It's a blast - you won't want to miss this one!
