Learn how to safely plan and dive using nitrox mixtures of up to 40% oxygen. This product provides your academic training and certification credit only, allowing you to complete all theory online before arranging the optional practical sessions with an SSI Dive Centre.

Optional practical training (booked separately)

The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox course can be completed entirely through eLearning, but many divers choose to add practical sessions to apply what they’ve learned. These optional sessions may include:

• Gas analysis and labelling of cylinders
• Planning and executing a nitrox dive using your own dive computer
• Checking oxygen exposure limits and safe dive profiles

Any practical training is not included with this eLearning product and must be booked separately with Dorset Diving or another SSI Dive Centre offering the Enriched Air Nitrox programme.

Important

• Please confirm that your chosen dive centre offers SSI Enriched Air Nitrox training before arranging any practical sessions.
• You must be at least 10 years old and hold an Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent) to enrol.
• Nitrox certification is a prerequisite for many advanced and technical SSI courses, including Deep Diving and Extended Range.
