SSI Photo & Video Course
The underwater world is one of the most photogenic environments on earth — and the SSI Photo & Video course teaches you how to capture it. From camera settings and lighting techniques to buoyancy control for steady shots, you'll learn how to take stunning images and video that do justice to what you see beneath the surface.
▸ Prerequisites
- Referral Diver (any entry-level scuba certification)
- Must be a certified Open Water Diver prior to final certification
▸ Minimum Age & Who It's For
- Minimum age: 10 years old
- Certified divers who want to capture and share their underwater experiences

- 🏫 Classroom/theory: Online via MySSI
- 🌊 Pool dives: BCP Dolphin Leisure Centre, Poole

- SSI digital learning materials via the SSI app
- 2 in-water training sessions with SSI Instructor

✗ What's Not Included
- Underwater camera or housing (bring your own)
- Equipment hire — students are encouraged to use their own kit; hire available at extra cost
- Mask and snorkel (must be purchased from Dorset Diving Services)
- Transport to/from venues
