With its distinctive appearance , the SCOUT mask has been designed to maximise
comfort and performance during a dive. The frameless soft silicone skirt seals
comfortably against the skin and the angled lens gives the wearer an excellent field
of vision. Packaged WITHOUT the strap, meaning the customer ‘builds’ their mask
in-store or online – not only has the customer chosen the lens to give them thier
optimal view, they have also chosen the strap and frame combination which gives
them their optimal aesthetic.

How we perceive the underwater world is largely determined by what we see.
The mask we use is therefore probably the most important piece of equipment
for most if not all divers.
Diving in caves is a different experience from snorkelling in tropical seas. Likewise,
diving in lower visibility, temperate waters is different from the near unlimited
visibility of some blue water locations.
Fourth Element’s lens system is designed to deliver an optimised experience
for different conditions – whether for photographers looking to maximise the
light transmission or wreck divers needing to enhance their perception of dimly
lit surroundings.

The fourth element mask strap has been made using recycled materials wherever possible; The elasticated strap is made using rubber and recycled nylon; the clips are made from recycled waste ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) plastic from the automotive industry.

The clips have been designed so that they will fit most mask buckles, and will fit all fourth element masks. Supplied with the SCOUT mask, or to be sold as a retro-fit option for most other mask types.
